Don’t miss the Opening Reception for Sandy Springs: A Painter's Perspective on Saturday, August 29th, from 2 pm to 4 pm!

Join us for Sandy Springs: A Painter’s Perspective, an inspiring exhibition featuring original artwork by twenty artists who transformed everyday scenes from Sandy Springs into unique works of art.

Led by professional artist and Abernathy Arts Center instructor Diana Toma, this special project challenged nineteen emerging artists to photograph, design, and create original paintings from start to finish. Through months of artistic exploration, each artist developed a personal interpretation of the city, resulting in a collection that celebrates the beauty, character, and everyday moments of Sandy Springs.

Experience the city through twenty unique artistic perspectives and celebrate the creativity of our local arts community.

The exhibit will be on display at the Abernathy Art Center from August 28 to October 26, 2026
