3 days. 36 hours. Non-stop robotics. And just like that... WE HAVE ROBOTS! 🤖⚡️
This summer break, the SCCS [Co.R.E.] crew locked in for an intense 3-day build marathon. Sure, some robots are working a little better than others right now, but that is all part of the process!
⚒️Every single student stepped up, leveled up their skills, and dove headfirst into this year’s new VEX Override challenge. The problem-solving, teamwork, and grit on display was next level. What an absolutely incredible group of students! 🙌🔥
We are just getting started. More robotics to come once school is officially back in session! 🛠️🏫

What a day for [Co.R.E] T at the NNYS VEX Robotics Push Back Championship! 🤖💙
They finished 14th in qualifications and were honored to be selected by 7157D from Chittenango as the 4th seed alliance. Together, they battled all the way to the semifinals before being knocked out by the 1st seed. We’re so proud of how our team competed and represented Sandy Creek!

We’re incredibly proud of our [Co.R.E.] IQ Robotics teams who competed this past Saturday at the Liverpool MRM VEX IQ Mix & Match Tournament 3!

All three teams did an amazing job, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills on the fly and working seamlessly with both their teammates and teamwork partners throughout the competition. Their dedication, collaboration, and perseverance truly shined.

This tournament marked the culmination of months of hard work and preparation that began back in October 2025. While our teams will not be moving on to the State Championship, this experience provided valuable learning opportunities and tremendous growth for everyone involved.

We are so proud of all they have accomplished and hope to see them back again next fall for another exciting season!

[Co.R.E.] had another fast paced evening competition at Timberwolf Turmoil II. The T team placed 4th in qualifications and the S team placed 10th. The T team picked the S team to be the 3rd place seed going into quarterfinals where they were unfortunately knocked out. Even though we didn’t bring home any awards we still made friends and had some awesome cookies from Sweet! Great job teams and thank you to all the volunteers that make these events possible!

The Sandy Creek [Co.R.E.] Robotics Teams would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who supported our Little Caesars Pizza Fundraiser! Because of your generosity (and love of pizza 😄), our teams earned $546 to help support our robotics programs.
We’d also like to give a very special thank you to the Coterie Club for their incredibly generous donation of $1900 from the Memory Wreath event this past holiday season. Your continued support means so much to our students and helps make amazing opportunities possible.
We are so grateful for a community that believes in and invests in our team. Thank you for helping us build, learn, and compete—on and off the field! 🤖✨

Timmy had an excellent solo adventure at Friday Night Fever placing 10th in Qualifications and being picked by from Chittenango to be the 5th place seed in finals. They fought hard through semifinals but were knocked out by the number 1 seed. They continued to impress the judges, earning them another Judges Award. Great job guys! Back to Sherburne next Friday for Timberwolf Turmoil II!
