Proudly serving those who served us, active-duty military, veterans, and their families since 2014 The Cape Cod Military Support Foundation, Inc.

has been established by a number of local citizens who

are interested in and committed to supporting the military and their dependents assigned to Joint Base

Cape Cod and the Coast Guard based in Woods Hole. The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation with the objective of raising funds through

donations, grants and special functions to provide support to members of the Air Fo

rce, Air National

Guard, Coast Guard Air Station, Army and Army National Guard and their dependents assigned to Joint

Base Cape Cod and Coast Guard Southeast Sector in Woods Hole. Donations to the Cape Cod Military

Support Foundation, Inc. are eligible for deduction from Federal taxes to the full extent of the law. The Foundation will provide this support through the granting of scholarships, supporting the Chaplain’s

fund which helps needy families, supporting the military units’ family days, supporting annual military

awards and recognition events, providing backpacks for students, and more. This new Foundation is lead by a fifteen-member Board of Directors from the communities

surrounding these military installations, including some who are also associated with the Otis

Civilian Advisory Council, a local civic organization which has been supporting the military community

for nearly seventy years, one of the oldest such organizations in the country.

This Memorial Day, the Massachusetts Military Support Foundation, The ELISHA Project, and join together to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

We pause to remember those who never returned home—their courage, their service, and their unwavering commitment to our nation. While we continue our mission of supporting veterans and their families through our empowerment centers in Sandwich and Joint Base Cape Cod, we reflect on the profound cost of the liberties we cherish.

As organizations dedicated to serving those who served, we recognize that our work is made possible by the sacrifices of the fallen. From providing essential resources to creating community spaces of dignity and respect, we carry forward a legacy of service inspired by their example.

To the families who have lost loved ones in service to our country: we see you, we honor you, and we stand with you—today and always.

State Representative Kip Diggs along with the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center is hosting a Salute to Women Veterans event in honor of Women’s History month.

The keynote speaker for this event is Dr. Andrea Gayle-Bennett, the first-ever Deputy Secretary of the Executive Office of Veterans' Services (EOVS). Dr. Gayle-Bennett is a retired Brigadier General in the Massachusetts National Guard and a distinguished healthcare professional. She will share her military experience and discuss the HERO Act- the most comprehensive and expansive legislative package dedicated to the welfare of veterans in Massachusetts history.

📢‼️ CALLING ALL FIRST RESPONDERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT and MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS ‼️📢 You are invited to an advance screening of THE INSTIGATORS that will be taking place on Friday, July 26th at 7:00 p.m. at AMC Boston Common. There is no cost for admission, and seats will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doors will be opening at 6:00 p.m., so you should arrive as close to that time as possible.

Please see below for the official invitation. As this film features Boston law enforcement officers, you are warmly encouraged to attend this screening in uniform.
