A HUGE thank you to our board members, parents, players and families who spent their weekend putting in some serious work to help clean up and beautify our Bulldogs field!

It’s about so much more than what happens on the field. It’s about community, teamwork and taking pride in our organization. Seeing our adults AND our kids roll up their sleeves and work together is exactly what we want the Bulldogs to represent.

Rest in Peace to a football legend!
Bulldogs are sending love to our West Bridgewater family during this time.

West Bridgewater Legendary Coach Bill Panos:
Legendary and Highly respected long-time cornerstone of West Bridgewater High School Football and West Bridgewater Youth Football Coach Bill Panos passed away at the age of 76 on July 27, 2026.

Bill Panos impact and passion on the West Bridgewater football community and town of West Bridgewater in general was nothing short of spectacular with endless memories made and historic feats achieved. Bill Panos guided West Bridgewater High School’s varsity football as its head coach for 33 years to 182 wins, 6 Super Bowl appearances, 2 Super Bowl wins (1991 and 2006) and 11 league championships and guided his team in his final season in 2018 to a record of 10-2 and a Division South Sectional Championship game win that included scoring touchdowns on 7 possessions in a row. No matter the size of team from a season low of 17 players to a high of 52 players he was true to his form in coaching an old school run heavy offense. Bill Panos was a Brockton Enterprise coach of the year, Boston Globe coach of the week and Referee Association Coach of the Year. Bill Panos was inducted into the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2018. His work ethic, dedication, passion, principles and desire for players to be the best they can be on and off the football field was an inspiration as well as appreciated by many in life. May his West Bridgewater Wildcat spirit continue to live on to all that were part of his historic life.

Please keep the Panos family and relatives in your thoughts and prayers. Positive words are welcomed.

IMPORTANT REQUEST AND INFORMATION: The Panos family has shared that he had a final wish: Any former or current player planning to attend the wake is asked to please wear their Wildcat Football Jersey to honor his legacy.

Please attend on your assigned day. It is important that players pick up their equipment during their scheduled handout so they have everything they need and are fully prepared for the first week of practice.

Don’t forget to bring your $150 volunteer check dated 12/15/26.

ALSO: $10 Bulldogs T-shirt Sale will be happening during equipment handout while supplies last!

We can’t wait to see everyone and kick off another awesome season. See you there!

Thinking about becoming a Bulldogs coach?

Do you have a family? A full-time job? Hobbies? Awesome… because you’re about to put those on hold.

Spend your evenings and weekends at the field, stay for post-game recaps, help line fields, volunteer in the snack shack, answer texts at all hours, and slowly replace your entire wardrobe with Bulldogs gear.
Oh… and don’t expect a paycheck. Volunteer hours are the new currency.

But in all seriousness…

There’s nothing more rewarding than watching these kids grow in confidence, build lifelong friendships, and become part of something bigger than themselves. The time commitment is real—but so is the impact.

We’re looking for assistant coaches for the 2026 season!
