🎉 BONUS ROUND! The Sandwich FUNdation Community Choice Grant
We’re not done funding FUN just yet!

The Sandwich FUNdation is opening a special BONUS ROUND grant opportunity — and this time, we’re letting the Sandwich community help choose the winner.

We’re looking for a great idea that will bring fun, joy, connection, creativity or opportunity to Sandwich youth and families.

Applicants may request up to $2,500 to help make their idea happen.

After applications close, The Sandwich FUNdation will select finalists whose projects will be shared with the community for a public vote. The project receiving the most community support will receive the Community Choice Grant and will be announced alongside our other 2026 grant recipients at the Lighting of the Littlest Christmas Tree.

If you've had an idea on a sticky note, in your notes app, or just rattling around your brain for months — today is your sign to finally hit submit.

We know applying for a grant can feel intimidating. Like it's for "professional" nonprofits or people with fancy titles and perfect paperwork. It's not. Our grants are unrestricted, which means they're for anyone with a real idea and a real plan to make Sandwich more FUN for our kids — parents, neighbors, first-timers, dreamers, doers. You don't need experience. You need heart and a plan.

No idea is too small. No applicant is too new. This isn't about who has it all figured out — it's about who is willing to try.

Every parent says it: "I just want my kid to grow up somewhere special."

We talk about it at pickup. At soccer games. Over coffee. We dream about the town we wish we had — more to do, more to see, more reasons for our kids to fall in love with where they're from.

But dreams don't build themselves. They need a permission slip. A little seed money. Someone willing to say "yes, go make that thing."

That's exactly what a grant from The Sandwich FUNdation is.

Over $20,000 is on the table right now for ideas that make Sandwich better, brighter, and more fun for the kids growing up here. You don't need a fancy proposal or a business degree — you need an idea and the willingness to put in the elbow grease.

The Sandwich FUNdation has 3 events coming up in November & December — and we need YOU. Whether you've got a few hours to spare or want to dive in all year, there's a spot with your name on it. 💛
