If you've had an idea on a sticky note, in your notes app, or just rattling around your brain for months — today is your sign to finally hit submit.

We know applying for a grant can feel intimidating. Like it's for "professional" nonprofits or people with fancy titles and perfect paperwork. It's not. Our grants are unrestricted, which means they're for anyone with a real idea and a real plan to make Sandwich more FUN for our kids — parents, neighbors, first-timers, dreamers, doers. You don't need experience. You need heart and a plan.

No idea is too small. No applicant is too new. This isn't about who has it all figured out — it's about who is willing to try.

Every parent says it: "I just want my kid to grow up somewhere special."

We talk about it at pickup. At soccer games. Over coffee. We dream about the town we wish we had — more to do, more to see, more reasons for our kids to fall in love with where they're from.

But dreams don't build themselves. They need a permission slip. A little seed money. Someone willing to say "yes, go make that thing."

That's exactly what a grant from The Sandwich FUNdation is.

The Sandwich FUNdation has 3 events coming up in November & December — and we need YOU. Whether you've got a few hours to spare or want to dive in all year, there's a spot with your name on it. 💛

Here's what you get out of it:

Past winners include a community member who provided FREE yoga to high schoolers, another turned an idea for a life jacket lending program into a possibility for our town and another who provided FREE beach volleyball clinics and balls to the Morse Road court.
