Small acts of service can make a big difference. 2026 is the year of service in Scouting America 🇺🇸 Lake Erie Council joins all other Scouting America councils for the Community Impact 365 Challenge to pledge to make this world a better place through a new goal: 250 hours of community service per unit.
While that might seem like a steep goal, thousands of service hours go unreported every month.
All service hours count towards this goal. Eagle Scout projects, school service hours, personal service projects, and even hours of family, friends, and volunteers that support your initiatives count. Each hour reported adds to reaching this goal and making our communities a better place for everyone.
