Regional Grant Cycle 2 award announcements are underway!

We are pleased to share that the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board of Directors has approved $1.15 million in grant funding for six organizations serving Region 17, including:

🔵 Anthony’s Villa
🟢 Hancock County Board of Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services
🔵 Sandusky County Department of Job and Family Services - Fremont, OH
🟢 Seneca County Common Pleas Court
🔵 Wood County Health Department
🟢 Wyandot Memorial Hospital

This funding will put opioid settlement dollars to work in communities across the region by supporting programs and initiatives designed to save lives, prevent addiction, expand treatment access, support people in recovery, and strengthen community resilience.

And this is just part of the impact ahead. Approximately $45 million will be made available statewide through Regional Grant Cycle 2, building on more than $45 million awarded to 245 projects through OneOhio’s inaugural grant cycle.

Anthony’s Villa is incredibly grateful to be selected as a recipient of OneOhio Recovery Foundation Regional Grant Cycle 2 funding!

This funding represents more than an award—it represents an investment in our community and in the individuals and families who need support, hope, and access to quality behavioral health services.

At Anthony’s Villa, we see every day the difference that the right support at the right time can make. Funding like this allows organizations like ours to continue building services that strengthen families, support recovery, and create brighter futures. 💙

We are honored to be among the six organizations selected to receive funding in Region 17, and we are incredibly thankful to the OneOhio Recovery Foundation for investing in our community.

The students aren’t the only ones excited for a brand-new school year! Katy brought plenty of smiles and back-to-school spirit as we prepared to cheer on our group home boys.

Our group home boys are heading into the new school year with new goals, growing confidence, and plenty of potential. We’re proud to support them as they learn, overcome challenges, and take steps toward a bright future.

💙 Does your child need a little extra support outside of the therapy office?

Sometimes kids know what they 'should' do when they're calm, but putting those skills into practice when they're frustrated, angry, overwhelmed, or upset can be much harder.

That’s where Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) can help! 🌟

At Anthony’s Villa, TBS focuses on hands-on, real-life skill building. Youth can work on:

✨ Managing big emotions
🧠 Developing healthy coping skills
🗣️ Communication and self-expression
🤝 Social and relationship skills
💪 Problem-solving and positive decision-making
🏠 Practicing skills at home and in the community

Activities might include therapeutic stories, games, role-playing, community outings, cooking, organization, or other individualized activities that help youth **practice—not just talk about—the skills they need to succeed.**

📣 We are currently accepting referrals for TBS services!

We had a wonderful time attending Perkins Township Community Day! 💛

Katy B. and Anthony enjoyed connecting with local families, sharing information about Anthony’s Villa, and spending the day alongside so many great community organizations.

Thank you to Perkins Township for hosting such a fun event and giving us the opportunity to be part of it. We’re always grateful for opportunities to connect with and support our community!

🛼 Learning something new takes courage, patience, and a willingness to keep trying!

One of our group home boys practiced rollerblading—and proved that every wobble, step, and attempt builds confidence. We love watching our youth challenge themselves, discover new interests, and celebrate their progress! 💛
