The mission of the Sandusky Education Foundation is to support Sandusky City Schools in providing a challenging and enriching educational experience that maximizes the learning potential of every student and prepares them to succeed in the 21st Century. We have been heavily involved in raising money for the Sandusky Aquatic Center, Hanging Sculptures in the City’s parks, and continue to help raise

money for new tennis courts that will be located by the Sandusky Rec Center on Hayes Ave. These projects demonstrate our work and commitment to Sandusky’s children. We’re so glad we can serve we could serve our local Sandusky Fire Fighters IAFF Local 327 and welcome to our new aquatic center! Thank you for joining us!!☺️

We would like to thank the Sandusky Aquatic Center along with the Erie County Health Department for their continued support of Local 327.

They have recently worked directly with our Dive Team to let us utilize the pool for physical readiness and equipment safety checks.

Do not hesitate to stop and say hello when we are there.

Each year our divers must go through a swim test and dive skills test to ensure our preparedness for the upcoming year.

Yesterday, the City of Sandusky officially unveiled the new tennis courts at a special ribbon-cutting ceremony! 🎉 It was a wonderful celebration with the City, Sandusky City Schools, St. Marys Central Catholic, and the Sandusky Education Foundation. Sandusky’s tennis legends Bernie Seiler and George Steinemann made the very first hit on these courts, officially serving up a new era of tennis. 🎾

The Sandusky Education Foundation has spent the past year fundraising for this project, and we are so grateful to every donor—individuals, foundations, and community partners—whose generosity made these courts a reality. 💙 Our city truly shines when we work together!

We can’t wait to see these courts in action this summer and for many years to come. 🏆🎾
