Due to the recent conflict, shipping to certain APO/FPO/DPO zip codes has been temporarily suspended, and we are currently unable to send care packages to those locations. We have listed the zip codes above.

We know how important these packages are to our deployed troops, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please know this pause is out of our control, and we will resume shipping the moment services reopen.

In the meantime, please keep our service members in your thoughts and prayers as they continue to serve and protect. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

🎯 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! 🎯

On May 14th, we joined forces with the incredible team at BAE Systems for an unforgettable day of service - packing 750 care packages for our deployed heroes around the world!

These packages reached troops in:
🌍 11+ deployment locations including USS Rushmore, Iceland, Bahrain, Syria, Iraq, Qatar, Djibouti, Kuwait, Jordan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Romania

The stories behind the mission:
β€’ A 12-year veteran looking out for brand new airmen on their first deployment
β€’ An HC-130J Crew Chief supporting CSAR operations in 120-degree desert heat
β€’ A female Forward Observer (13F) breaking barriers and leading by example
β€’ VP-46 sailors (290 strong!) operating P-8A Poseidons across two areas of responsibility
β€’ Service members from American Samoa to Cleveland, all serving with pride
β€’ First-time deployers missing family, pets, and home - but staying mission-ready

Every single package represents a bridge between home and the front lines. From protein snacks that boost morale to hygiene products that provide comfort, these care packages remind our troops they're never forgotten.

The photos tell the whole story - from our amazing volunteers in action to the smiling faces of troops who have JUST received their packages thousands of miles away. Each image captures the impact of this partnership.

Thank you, BAE Systems, for your extraordinary partnership and unwavering commitment to supporting those who serve. Your generosity directly touches hundreds of service members answering the call of duty far from home.

To our deployed heroes: We see you, we support you, and we're grateful for your service. Stay strong! πŸ’ͺ

The Troopster Origin Story

Troopster launched Thanksgiving Day in 2015, by U.S. Navy Petty Officer Chelsea Mandello while she was still serving active-duty as a Navy Photojournalist. The site was created to give friends and family of deployed service members a more natural way to send their soldiers care packages, but without facing any of the trouble of actually shopping or packing themselves. The story began nearly two-years before while Mandello was serving aboard her seventh ship during an 11-month deployment to the Fifth Fleet area-of-operations. Forward-deployed and serving a mission against anti-piracy, Mandello like others rarely received mail. Care Packages, when delivered, was a unique commodity that increased morale and overall wellbeing. Rather than eating unsatisfying, over-processed foods or standing in line to a convenient store style market, those that received care packages could enjoy rare items such as Folgers coffee, Fragrant Downey laundry detergent, photos and letters from loved ones, healthy foods. The problem though was that when care packages did arrive, often-times items had gone expired, melted or wasn't needed or useful. Many times care boxes that were received were thrown away, despite the heartache that this caused. Mandello coined care packages such as these 'Heartbreak Boxes.' Mandello, having experienced her own heartbreak box, realized that there should be a better option for those who wanted to help their deployed troops. While still serving active duty, but with a lot of determination Mandello began working early mornings, nights, lunch-breaks and weekends establishing what would later be Troopster.
