Please join us at the
Forest Bird Charter School
On Wednesday May 4th at: 2:00 pm

This month we will be doing show-and-tell. If you have an invention you would like to show the group please be ready to tell us about it. You can tell us about your idea in 5 to 10 minutes and answer or ask questions. Feel free to bring along any prototypes, images, or drawings if you like.

We will also have our regular mixer, afterwards so folks can mingle and learn from the experts.

We are pleased to announce that this months meeting will have our newest board member and another prolific inventor Mark Cherry talk on his journey as an inventor. He may also discuss his current business which originated with one of his inventions. Smartplugs Corporation

Lawrence J. Udell is speaking at Inventors Association of Idaho Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 2pm @ the Bird Aviation Museum. (325 Bird Ranch Road, Sagle, Idaho 83860)

Founder of over 30 corporations, Udell provides consulting to both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He lectures frequently at inventor, corporate and government functions throughout America and for the USPTO. He also lectures in other countries for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO division of the United Nations).

Upcoming meeting is this Tuesday, Sept. 1st at 2:00pm at the Bird Museum. Our guest speaker is Shanda Lear Baylor, daughter of the world renowned inventor or the Learjet Bill Lear. Shanda is visiting from California to speak at our meeting about her own journey as an inventor and entrepreneur in the marine industry.

I am very excited about this meeting and I hope to see you there.

Our upcoming speaker for the Inventors Association of Idaho on Tuesday, September 1 at 2:00 (Bird Aviation Museum). It is Shanda Lear-Baylor. Shanda is the daughter of Bill and Moya Lear , inventor of the Lear Jet. Shanda has her own patents, will be talking about her parents but moreso her own technologies. She is the Founder and CEO of Lear Boats, etc. and is an amazing person. She will be flying in from Newport, CA to speak at the inventors group.

Tomorrow's Event: Minds in Motion. We are doing an inventor's "walk across the long bridge" in Sandpoint, Idaho. This will be an opportunity for brainstorming one inventor to another. We meet at the Longhorne BBQ, south of the long bridge at 10:30am; we will walk across the bridge to Starbucks (Starbucks will be serving free coffee); and walk back. This should be a wonderful brainstorming, networking event. Please join us!!
