Childhood hunger is solvable. FOOD FOR OUR CHILDREN wants to end childhood hunger in Bonner County and help put its children on positive paths to success.

Poverty levels are on the rise due to the current economy, and too many Idaho children are hungry over the weekends. Throughout Idaho, teachers share many stories of children returning to school on Monday after a weekend without enough to eat. Statistics show that Bonner County is one of the worst counties in Idaho with child hunger issues. Unfortunately, studies focusing on food deprived children

indicate that they are more likely to become sick, have a decreased attention span, and lack the enthusiasm to learn because they are concentrating on their hunger more than learning.

With food costs rising, the need to help feed our local hungry kids is greater then ever! Please come shop at Yokes and grab a $1 donation ticket or simply ask the cashier to Round Up for our kids! 100% of donations stay here in Bonner County and go directly and only for food!

FFOC purchases food for our local hungry children from our regional food bank through our local food bank! This could mean we are unable to provide weekend for our kids!!

The halt in deliveries comes after the Trump administration separately slashed $1 billion for schools and food banks to buy food from farms.

Join us at Yokes Fresh Market in April and “Round up for the Kids” or grab a $5 ticket at the display and take it with your groceries to the cashier. $5 buys one weekend food bag for one child.

All donations stay in Bonner County and 100% goes only towards the purchase of food!

Join us for our very own Bridges home Trio’s Reunion Concert 🎶 on Friday, April 26th at the Panida Theatre in downtown Sandpoint. The concert will begin at 7pm and tickets are only $15 which can be purchased at foodforourchildren.org, Jalapenos Restaurant and at the door.

All proceeds will go to Food For Our Children and directly towards helping us feed our local kids.
