Live music from Harold's IGA, games, raffle, silent auctions (online & in person), and an evening with the Dogsmile community. Admission is free. RSVPs encouraged (it really helps us with planning!).

Our hearts are heavy as we think of the friends, neighbors, and families in our region who have lost homes and so much more to the fires.

When the smoke clears, we’ll be here. If some time on Lake Pend Oreille: fresh air, open water, and a day of sailing, could offer a little space to recover, reconnect, or simply breathe, we’d love to welcome you aboard.

Reminder: Dogsmile Adventures operates on a “pay what you can” pricing model. Our sailing programs are offered on a sliding scale, so if the price listed on our website is out of reach, please reach out anyway. We’ll work with you to find a price that works and get you out sailing.

Start ‘em Young!
Zoe Watt-Kanack became our youngest sailor ever at 8 months old. Thank you to her parents, Cale Kanack and Vivian Watt, for trusting us with your lovely baby girl. Looks like she’s hooked!

The Dogsmile Race Team, made up of young adults and veterans, hit the road last weekend for our annual pilgrimage to North Flathead Yacht Club to compete in the Montana Cup sailing regatta. The hospitality, sailing conditions, world-class venue, and sportsmanship make this one of the highlights of the summer! MVP goes to Zola, who took 2nd place in the junior regatta on Friday and worked the foredeck on a short-handed SV Little Wing, earning first place in the Capri 25 class.

Fun Fact: Spraying grime off the boats before racing makes a surprising difference in speed. Clean = Fast!

NEW PROGRAM ALERT!!
We had an amazing time with our new partners Sandpoint Teen Center. We had a perfect day to kick off what we’re sure will be a long-lasting collaboration. Yar!

Our annual collaboration with North Idaho College Outdoor Pursuits program and Charity Reimagined was a HUGE success this year! We had 16 new sailors, ages 10-16, out sailing on Coeur d’ Alene Lake last week. Shout out to our dedicated volunteers from CdA Youth Sailing for making this happen!
