The Josh Gordy HOPE Foundation was founded in 2012 to educate individuals, communities, and legislators on how to effectively care for those affected by hemophilia. They witnessed how hemophilia was affecting Nolan’s life and daily activities. Nolan was the first in their family to be diagnosed with hemophilia, and the first time they had heard of the disorder. They decided then that they wanted t
o bring awareness to hemophilia. HOPE stands for Hemophilia Outreach Plus Education. Josh and Deborah formed the foundation with the finality to provide resources and assist those suffering from hemophilia and other health challenges. Each year, we provide, well deserving seniors, who have faced health challenges of their own, a scholarship towards a higher education. Through hosted events such as, 5k walk/run and our ATV charity rides, the proceeds go towards these scholarships. In previous years, the proceeds were able to send an entire family to the annual hemophilia convention, where they received education on the disorder and were provided the opportunity to be in an environment that shows them that they are not alone!
