GLOW Kidz Jr. learned about sharing God’s love by playing a game of Hot Potato and passing the giant yellow ball to each other. We can show God’s love by sharing what we have and helping others know about Jesus.

When the Christian Life Center recently expressed a need for food items for children of the families they serve, our Wednesday night GLOW clubs sponsored a food drive. We would like to thank everyone that donated. Thank you for helping teach our children about showing love and kindness to others.

A Facebook post made several months ago has resulted in a wonderful blessing for our girls and boys clubs. When Mrs. Melanie expressed a need for new Bibles for our girls club, she quickly had responses that not only enabled us to buy enough bibles for the girls, but we had enough to purchase bibles for the boys as well. I love to see them reading their Bibles and we have also added journaling to our lessons. The kids decorated their journals and use them to record scripture, prayer requests, their thoughts, or illustrations of the nights lesson. Thank you to all those that made donations!

There was a lot happening in Kids Clubs Wednesday night. Bible Buddies Club have begun their Easter Celebration. Girls and Boys Clubs are studying about God’s love. All enjoyed playing together outside after class. That’s what it’s all about….building those relationships with Jesus and with each other.

Running on thirsty? Boys and Girls Clubs played a fun game of transferring water fron one cup to another using only a straw. Then we read about the woman at the well in John 4. She went to draw water at the well, but she met Jesus that told her about a different kind of water. The water she got out of the well would run out, but Jesus’ water never runs out. “Jesus answered her, If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.” Have you accepted that gift of living water?

GLOW KIDZ JR are learning about how God takes care of us . Last Sunday they read how God takes care of the birds and the flowers and He will take care of us. The kids played a game of Musical Squares to help them remember that God takes care of them every “step” of the way.

It was a time of celebration in Boys and Girls Clubs. We read the story of the birth of Jesus, had cupcakes and chips and then played a game of decorating a “human” Christmas tree. We hope you and your family will enjoy this season as you celebrate the birth of our Savior. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
