Washington County it’s Gregory A. Cooper Jr. as you may, I have started a non-profit corporation for our community. The name of the non-profit corporation is Greatness. Where our s
logan is great, believe you're great and become great. ( The three b’s and the three g’s.) Our vision is to touch as many young lives as we possibly can to promote greatness from within that individual. Focusing on what’s the passion of that kid’s life and what they do best when at performance. We as a corporation will work with the local public and private schools to enhance a relationship of connection with the great students in the school systems. We want to see a change in the generations to come and the ones that are already here in WACO. So, as this non-profit corporation, we will help every student as far as 1-12 grades tutoring, athletic training, sports, ACT and SAT test prep, covering all subjects with school learning but, mainly focusing on reading and math. We will hold meetings monthly to share how the money that is being used to benefit kids in the Greatness Non-Profit Corporation. Another thing is we are really hoping that some community leaders, businesses, and any other available sponsors will do monthly or annual donations contributing things and materials needed for the corporation to operate. We also will put in for grants and other opportunities to receive funding for the non-profit corporation. Donations, funding, and grants will help with scholarships being given to students whether they’re within the Greatness Corp. or outside the non-profit. The first project we would like to work on is tutoring for the change of better knowledge of math and reading. While funding is coming in we will have locations in Washington County where we have tutoring going on for the children. The locations we will hold study halls and tutoring will be just for the time being until we can get the funds to purchase our own. This tutoring will mainly focus on grades 1-12 focusing on complications with math and reading. Therefore, while making the things we want to happen we will prove that the funding is being used for what they are for. The tutoring program and services were going to provide the profit/ some of the funding will go towards learning materials, books, utensils, and any other thing needed for the tutoring department. So, please take some time and think about whether you want to see the youth more actively doing something for positive change or negative changes that are not beneficial to our community. We are asking you to simply make a contribution to our focus on BETTER WASHINGTON COUNTY THROUGH GREATNESS NON-PROFIT CORP….
