It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of long-time friend and Omoribe Project board member, John Rountree. His calm presence and practical wisdom helped guide the non-profit through 10+ years of ministry. John was a compassionate champion of the Omoribe kids and he will be greatly missed.

One of the older girls is preparing black night shade, a common green that will be made into managu, an iron-rich dish high in vitamins. Managu is often served with ugali to form a nutritious and filling meal. We are grateful for generous donors who make it possible for the Omoribe kids to eat healthy food like this.
