Ensley Township is located in the southeast corner of Newaygo County, Michigan. The township has two beautiful parks for the public to enjoy: Baptist Lake Park and the Ensley Nature Preserve. Applicable rules and information is available on the Township's web page. The Township also has two cemeteries: North Ensley Cemetery on 104th Ave. East of Cypress, and Crandall Cemetery on 22 Mile Rd. East of Algoma Ave.

There will be a Special Meeting on Thursday, February 26 at 7:30PM at the Ensley Township Hall to discuss the fire department.

The Fire Board meeting (Nelson, Pierson & Ensley Twps) scheduled for Monday, December 29, 2025 has been postponed until further notice to allow additional time for information gathering and development.

The Pierson Township Board Special Meeting will still be held on December 30 at 7pm to discuss fire services.

Details regarding the next for the Fire Board meeting will be posted as soon as they are available.

Ensley Township Board will be holding a special meeting at 7163 E 120th Street, Sand Lake, Michigan on Tuesday, December 23rd at 7:30 pm for the purpose of discussing the fire department.
