Happy Halloween!! What a great turnout. Great costumes and great laughs. Almost 50 costume contenders in the contest tonight. That’s probably a record. Thank you Security Bank for the prize money - we used it!

Mark those calendars for some holiday cheer! We know it's a little early to begin the Holiday Season, but we hope you'll join us as the CWHS Drama Club presents the short play "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus."

Two stories come together in this heartwarming play inspired by the famous editorial! On Christmas Eve, 1897, in New York City, eight-year-old Virginia is left pondering whether or not Santa really exists after a series of unhappy events. Meanwhile, a young newspaper editor also struggles against tough holiday times as he is faced with losing his job if he can't find his writer's voice by morning. Even though they don't know each other, the spirit of Christmas is about to bring these people together, creating in the process an unforgettable and cherished part of classic Christmas folklore.

The show will be performed on the CW Stage Nov. 7-8 at 7 p.m. The showtime/dates are subject to change, pending the post-season WIAA football schedule. Join us for this classic tale, and maybe a few treats and other holiday stories as we ring in the season!
