It’s the most important aspect of healing, because it allows the family and the battle torn wounded warrior to reunite and be with their family again after being separated by war and deployed for so long. As they go through all the struggles of injuries, psychological and emotional issues which take a
long time to heal-and recovery and rehabilitation-they do that as a family, not
separated from one another where they become isolated and not a family unit
anymore.The Haven’s concept is about giving back. It’s about volunteers and former combat soldiers sharing their experiences and providing
leadership as well as awareness that empowers the soldier to move forward on his new mission in life. It’s about recognition and paying tribute to the families. It sets the tone
for direction, enhancing life skills and hope for the future. About the brotherhood and the camaraderie that the Warfighter left behind with the fallen on the battlefield,
