💔 A Sudden Loss to Our Dog Rescue Family 💔

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of our long‑time team members. For over 8 years, he dedicated his life to helping us care for and save more than 14,000 dogs. His sudden departure is a tremendous loss not only to our rescue but to the entire dog community.

His compassion, hard work, and unwavering love for animals touched countless lives — both human and canine. We will forever be grateful for the years he gave to this mission, and his legacy will live on in every dog that found safety and love because of him.

💔 In Loving Memory of Chili Reano 💔

This week we said goodbye to our beloved Chili Reano. He was with us for 20 incredible years — a lifetime of love, loyalty, and joy. Most dogs don’t make it past 10, but Chili gave us double that, a true gift we will cherish forever.

He wasn’t just a pet; he was family. He grew with us, comforted us, and filled our days with happiness. We miss him deeply, but we are grateful for every moment we shared.

Run free, Chili. You’ll always live in our hearts. 🐾❤️

Someone just stopped by the sanctuary with a surprise donation — canned dog food from a dog‑food party in San Diego! Our pups are over the moon… they think it’s caviar! 🐶✨ Nothing makes us happier than seeing tails wag and bowls filled. Huge thanks to the generous donor for making our dogs feel like royalty today. 💙🥫👑

🐾 Honey Needs a Special Home 🐾

Honey is a beautiful 3‑year‑old female dog who was found on the streets after suffering severe trauma. 💔 Thanks to care at the sanctuary, she is healing and slowly learning to trust again.

She is still very scared of most people, but she has begun to warm up to a few kind souls here. Honey needs a special type of person — patient, gentle, and willing to give her the time and love she deserves.

Honey’s journey has been hard, but she has so much love to give if someone will give her a chance. 🐶❤️
