National Dog Day at Jessica’s Haven ! JH&R small dog rescue

Say hello to Cozy! Cozy is a 6 year old female maltipoo weighing in at 18lbs Cozy is looking for her perfect forever home. We think she would do best in an adult home with someone who likes to spend time with her. She’s good with other respectful dogs not sure about cats.
She walks great on leash, is potty trained and loves to sleep with her human. She takes a minute to warm up to new people and warms up quicker to women than men.
If you are interested in adopting Cozy please contact Jessica’s Haven at 415-747-8785 for more information.
Also please note that because she is a non shedding breed, she will require grooming every 6-8 weeks and will need to be brushed and combed out regularly in between groomings.

Meet Pepper..
Pepoer is a female 6 month old Chihuahua mix.
She currently weighs 6.5 lbs so will probably be somewhere between 8 and 12 lbs full grown.
This little lady is very friendly with men, women and children. She gets along with friendly cats and likes other dogs but can be a little shy at first.
Pepoer is crate trained, and has great recall. She’s a very smart gal and willing to learn.
By the time she’s ready to go to her forever home she will be spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
If you think you might be interested in adopting Pepoer, please call Jessica’s Haven at 415-747-8785.

The Black Dog is Penelope. Possibly our greatest success in 12 years of JH. She stayed in her crate for 2 years - so fearful of people that she shook when anyone came near. Gradually she came to trust us. This week I really saw her sweet personality emerge ! Thanks JH family for supporting this slow to heal sweetheart !
