SchoolsRule Marin Welcome to the SchoolsRule page – a hub for conversation (the honest kind) about public education in Marin.

Join us by liking our page and sharing comments. SchoolsRule is the first and only cross-county organization to collaborate with every school district in Marin. Our mission is to bridge the gap between state funding and what it actually takes to provide quality, well-rounded education for every single student in our county. We joined forces to help every Marin kid reach their full potential regard

less of economic differences. SchoolsRule is the quickest and most efficient way of getting funds to the classroom. All donations are divided on a per-student basis and distributed evenly throughout the county, so that every student benefits. We are focusing those funds on four key initiatives: literacy, technology, health and the arts. Four areas that are crucial for developing communication, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Join us by sharing our page, your comments, or your dollars at schoolsrule.org/give. The stage was filled with beautiful paper flowers, each one thoughtfully created by students from Mill Valley Elementary schools, with special notes written on every flower. The room was filled with family, friends, and colleagues, together honoring a life that touched so many of us.

A gorgeous song by the Mill Valley Middle School Chamber Choir brought both tears and smiles. Trisha’s celebration of life, hosted with love by Mary Jane Burke, included heartfelt words from friends, Trisha’s husband, children and family, reminding us all of the deep love, impact, and community she built.

Thank you to Jared Huffman for the meaningful recognition from the U.S. House of Representatives.

The room was truly filled with love, gratitude, and community, just as Trisha would have wanted. We love you forever, Trisha and miss you dearly 🖤❤️
