Thank you to everyone who made the 29th year of Warm Wishes a resounding success!
3,000 Streetpacks went out into the Bay Area on Saturday filled with socks, gloves, scarves, hats, and rain ponchos thanks to donations, time, and commitment from many volunteers and people like you!
We are so grateful to many organizations also for their support.

Warm Wishes Celebrating 29 Years of Spreading Warmth!

Warm Wishes has gifted over one million warm items over the decades. Every holiday season thousands of backpacks filled with brand new gloves, socks, hats, scarves, rain ponchos and now KN95 masks to reduce the spread of Covid-19are distributed to the needy. Warm Wishes continues to fulfill it's mission to provide warmth to the un-sheltered and street communities throughout the SF Bay Area and would love a helping hand. We are gearing up for our annual Streetpack distribution this year with assembly beginning December 3rd!

These items warm bodies and with your help they can warm hearts and bring smiles.

With assembly beginning this Saturday, December, 3rd we are inviting volunteers to help fill the Streetpack backpacks. The packs will then be given to social service agencies for distribution, including the Downtown Street Team, California Conservation Corp, Street Life Ministries, and the Marin County Probation Department, among others. There are several ways you can help (see below).

Warm Wishes Special Holiday Project!

This project will have the opportunity to warm the hearts of those that are less fortunate.
1. Please create 1 or more cards drawing a holiday picture using your choice of paper. Fold in half or make a card - be creative!
2. Use crayons, colored pencils, markers, stickers etc. Be sure not to use glitter or anything glued that might come off in the backpack.
3. Please sign it “Warm Wishes”, (first name only) Ex. “Billy”

We would like to receive the cards by Nov 31st -we can pick up or you can deliver to our office in Northgate.

Join Warm Wishes for our annual StreetPack Assembly day!

This year we are celebrating 29 years of distributing StreetPacks in the Bay Area, and giving over 1 million items to those in need!

This Saturday, December 3rd at the Northgate Mall (food court entrance) in Terra Linda.

Every holiday season we pass out thousands of backpacks that have brand new gloves, socks (Bombas), cap, scarves, rain ponchos and now Covid KN95 masks. These items warm their bodies and with your help we can warm their hearts and bring a smile to their faces.

Warm Wishes returns December 5, 2020!

Thanks to the lead gift from the Rotary Club of Tiburon Sunset Foundation, Warm Wishes will once again assemble 5000+ backpacks filled with warm items for those in need in our community. Our gratitude to Unity in Marin for once again hosting this important event.

We need your help!

Ways to support include donating holiday greeting cards with a personal note, hand knit hats, and financial contributions are always welcome. As a program of MarinLink, your Warm Wishes donation is tax-deductible. https://marinlink.org/donations/

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to minimize exposure, our on-site volunteers this year will be by invitation only. No children will be allowed on site. Please do NOT DROP IN as anyone not preassigned will be turned away.

Sorry that we cannot convene as in past years but know that we are grateful for all past support on assembly days for over 27 years!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:
For 25 successful years, Warm Wishes provided warm items to our homeless and sheltered neighbors throughout the Bay Area. Founder Bill Hamm estimated that Warm Wishes provided over ONE MILLION items to our neighbors on the streets, through agencies and shelters, with individuals receiving backpacks, rain ponchos, caps, gloves, socks and a holiday card.
A variety of factors contributed to a difficult decision, and Warm Wishes will wind down with a smaller event, not proceeding with the traditional holiday backpacking event this year.
MarinLink is proud to have supported Bill Hamm’s work and vision.
