Anna Halprin, the legendary dance and movement artist, created the Planetary Dance 45 years ago. Her own words capture the dance’s purpose beautifully:
“Beyond our immediate community, we are all connected, from country to country. The whole earth is one. In this time of global conflict, economic hardship, ecological crisis, I believe people need to embrace their connections to each other and the planet and to take a stand for their lives and all they hold dear, the Planetary Dance offers people of all ages and abilities a way to come together and take this stand.”
Please join us in supporting this important ritual which has been performed in over 40 countries. We rely on financial contributions from committee members, participants and other supporters. We invite you to join donating to the continued development of the Planetary Dance.
