E3: Education, Excellence & Equity

E3: Education, Excellence & Equity In this future, all students achieve & realize their fullest potential

Our vision is imagining a future where educators embrace the lived & learned experiences of each student where the institution values the brilliance that each student brings. Education, Excellence & Equity believes all youth are struggling in different ways and all students can become college ready
-That most of our school systems are missing the brilliance of our students, especially those who fa

il to graduate high school, who have the life experiences that are completely consistent to 21st century skills (critical analysis, adaptability, cross-cultural communication, teamwork, innovation)
-Nearly all youth programs who work with at-risk kids have helped more kids go to college, we have a tool for the other 50% to stay in school and be college ready. Every day, we
-Show students how to translate life experiences into academic performance
-Highlight teacher’s blind spot to see how to create 100% engagement by identifying student’s strengths
-Develop a school’s ability to measure these life experiences as skills and identify students college readiness

Because without this, students who have traditionally failed will continue to do so and students who traditionally succeed will not be prepared in a global society

Why is E3 needed:
What makes E3 unique is that we are able to differentiate students by their academic strengths not deficits. For example, educators often help those students who are at-risk (ie; poor black & brown) because of low expectation and/or performance but fail to realize that the way to help all at-risk youth who often are self-selected is not the same way to help those already disengaged.

This week the world celebrated Giving Tuesday! Today, we’re honoring the impact.

We’re proud to spotlight The Ever Forward Club, one of our E3 Ecosystem Collective partners, for their powerful work on the Young Men’s Conference 2025: “Normalizing Vulnerability: One Mask at a Time.”

This year’s conference moved young men in ways we don’t often witness.

Students shared openly about confidence, identity, emotional health, and the power of community. Local and global partners from Oakland to Seattle to Nigeria and South Africa, held their own gatherings, each rooted in helping young men feel seen, heard, and understood.

The global momentum was real. Workshops, art, mentorship, storytelling, and safe spaces for young men to show up fully as themselves.

Take a moment to watch the full recap video.

The honesty these young men shared is something we all need to hear. Together, with partners like Ever Forward, we keep building ecosystems of support, healing, and opportunity.

This , we recognize the strength that emerges when community organizations operate as an interconnected ecosystem rather than isolated nonprofits.

The Ecosystem Collective is built on shared practices:

🔸 Reciprocal trust through collaborative leadership
🔸 Gratitude through community-centered repair
🔸 Generosity through resource-sharing and mutual aid

By working together instead of separately, our collective has already seen measurable benefits:

🔸 Streamlined support for families
🔸 Expanded services and access
🔸 Greater alignment around social justice values

Long term, this ecosystem becomes a sustained model of community care, one that shifts away from systems models that limit communities and moves toward abundance, balance, and shared responsibility.

Your support today helps this collective continue its work.

On this Giving Tuesday, we celebrate the power of coming together. Not through charity alone, but through reciprocal trust, shared responsibility, and collective generosity.

E3 is proud to be part of the Ecosystem Collective, a coalition of small nonprofits committed to practicing:
🔸 Reciprocal trust through Distributive Leadership
🔸 Gratitude through Restorative Justice
🔸 Generosity through a Gift Economy

Through this mutual aid network, we are already seeing short-term benefits:
🔸 Shared resources
🔸 Reduced expenses
🔸 Greater efficiency in supporting community members

In the long term, the Ecosystem Collective becomes an incubator for sustainable change. A model for a more humane, balanced, and collaborative way of building community.

Rooted in social justice, our work counters systems built on control, violence, and greed, and instead creates pathways where families, children, and whole ecosystems thrive.

This December 2nd Giving Tuesday, your support helps sustain this movement.
Your generosity keeps this ecosystem growing.

🔸 Long term goal - the outcomes are:
Incubator for change, model for next iteration of community, & sustainability of positive impacts.

Rooted in social justice, the Eco-Collective aims to counter systems of control, violence, and greed by modeling a more balanced, humane, and collaborative way of building community. Many people and organizations attempt to do address all the problems that the current system that rewards greed, control & violence. However, there are others who are committed to co-creating a new system that minimizes harm.
