Marin Masonic Lodge No. 191 F. & A. M.

Marin Masonic Lodge No. 191 F. & A. M. Chartered in 1868, Marin Lodge No. 191 was the founding Masonic Lodge in Marin. Our Lodge is located on the second floor of our building.

We are located in downtown San Rafael at 888 Fourth Street at the corner of 4th and Lootens. MASTERS WELCOME
Today, Marin Masonic Lodge and we have had several men/candidates keen to join this ancient and honorable institution. We meet on Wednesday nights, and at other times whether for ritual work, committee meetings or fellowship events. Over the course of the year, there is something available

that everyone can get involved in. The special attraction to most masons is the brotherhood, making new friends and acquaintances from all walks of life, every background and age group, whilst others enjoy finding out about the history and mysteries of Freemasonry. The essential qualification for admission into and continuing membership is a belief in a Supreme Being. Membership is open to men of any race or religion who can fulfill this essential qualification and who are of good repute. New members are always welcome, from any walk of life, we advise that you first talk to a family member, friend or colleague whom you already know to be a member. They will be able to explain to you what they can about the fraternity and help you find a suitable Lodge. If you don’t know anyone at all who is a member, then get in touch with us and we can advise you on the next steps to becoming a member of this, one of the world’s oldest secular fraternal societies. The Masonic Bee

Jun 17 at 12:55 PM
The bee is a symbol that teaches us a lot about working together, sharing responsibilities, and looking out for each other's well-being.

It shows us how living in harmony and cooperation can lead to the greater good of the community.

This is a powerful reminder for us to think about how we organize our societies, emphasizing teamwork and mutual support over going it alone or trying to force others to do things.

The bee is not just busy; it's a model of hard work, resilience, and living in balance with nature.

These qualities are admired in Freemasonry because they reflect a strong work ethic and the ability to bounce back from challenges.

They also show us the importance of living in a way that respects and contributes to the natural world around us.

But the bee's significance goes deeper than just what it does.

It also represents a spiritual and moral lesson for us.

The bee shows that even in ordinary, everyday actions, there's a chance to connect with something bigger than ourselves.

It teaches us that there's a kind of divine intelligence at work in the world, and even the simplest creature can show us something profound about life.

Thinking about the bee in this way can inspire us to find the extraordinary in the ordinary and to seek harmony within ourselves and with the environment.

It's a reminder that by working together and supporting each other, we can achieve something meaningful and contribute to a larger purpose.
