If you are planning a get-away and leaving your teens at home for the night or the weekend, plan. Talk to your kids and let them know about your personal liability under the Social Host Ordinance. Inform your neighbors and ask them to get in touch with you if they see or hear a party. Also, did you know you can request a “Vacation Watch” from local law enforcement?

El uso de sustancias como un adolescente puede conducir a una mayor probabilidad de desarrollar una adicción. Luchar contra la adicción a las sustancias puede ser una lucha de por vida que afecta no sólo a ti mismo, sino a tus amigos y familiares que se preocupan por ti. Es normal tener curiosidad sobre el consumo de sustancias, pero es importante reconocer que el uso de sustancias puede conducir a un problema de sustancias.

Using substances as a teen can lead to a greater chance of developing an addiction. Fighting substance addiction can be a lifelong struggle that affects not only yourself but your friends and family who care about you. It is normal to be curious about substance use, but it is important to recognize that substance use can lead to a substance problem.
