Thank you to David Henseler, President of the South Bay Sunrise Rotary Club and Co-Chair of Rotary International - District 5280 Camp Pendleton Committee, for joining us today at the Rotary Club of San Pedro!

David shared the history and impact of the District’s ongoing Camp Pendleton collection project, which helps provide much-needed household goods, clothing, baby supplies, and other essentials to young military families through the Warrior Warehouse.

It was inspiring to hear how this project has continued to grow through the generosity and collaboration of Rotary Clubs throughout District 5280.

Thank you, David, for sharing this important project with our club and for your continued commitment to Service Above Self!

Today, the Rotary Club of San Pedro had the pleasure of recognizing an outstanding group of young people and celebrating their hard work, dedication, and bright futures.

We were proud to honor our Students of the Year, along with two vocational scholarship recipients from the Port of Los Angeles High School Welding and Construction Program. These scholarships help support students pursuing skilled trades and careers that will strengthen our community for years to come.

We were also honored to present a special scholarship to the daughter of longtime Rotarian and Past President Caroline Brady, continuing a meaningful connection between Rotary, education, and generations of service.

Supporting education and investing in young people is one of the many ways Rotary works to create lasting impact in our community. Congratulations to all of this year’s students and scholarship recipients! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next. 💙💛
