Dear Camp Axios Family,
It is with great sorrow that we have to inform you that due to the loss of substantial financial backing, Camp AXIOS will be closing its doors after nearly 17 years. This was not an easy decision by the Board of Directors, but the task of raising money became insurmountable.
The memories of camp are endless, from our first years at Saint Sophia Camp to our second home at the Lazy W Ranch. The laughter, tears and success stories we have shared together, are a gift that will never be forgotten. We want to thank each of you for your dedication, time, talents and love that you shared with our campers and with one another. You have all contributed to the success of our dear camp and you have truly made a difference in the lives of inner city children. You were part of something very special that can never be duplicated.
Even though camp will end, we hope that you will continue to “pay it forward” by spreading the AXIOS spirit in all that you do. Always remember to “Build Bridges, Not Walls” and “Be the Change That You Want to See in the World”.

Dear Camp Axios Family and Friends,

CAMP AXIOS isn’t a place you visit; it’s a place that becomes part of you. When we began in 1998, our goal was to inspire and motivate at risk youth to see beyond their circumstances and toward the potential for a bright future by educating them about the impact of the many choices they make. Our motto that "Five days can make a difference in a child's life" has fueled our continued commitment to provide a life changing camp experience. One camper told us “This camp has changed me forever.” So, it is with both appreciation for the memories and heartfelt sadness that we write to you today, as we are facing very difficult circumstances.
CAMP AXIOS has relied on the financial support of individuals, corporations and foundations, to provide this unique opportunity. Unfortunately, due to lack of funding, we may be forced to say farewell. If we are not able to secure substantial funding in the next two months, we will not be able to continue.
If you know someone who can help with substantial contribution potential, please contact us as soon as possible. Send an email to [email protected].
We are grateful for the memories and friendships we have created together as a CAMP AXIOS family. You will be in our hearts forever. These 16 years have flown by, and we have loved every minute of it. Always remember, “YOU ARE WORTHY!”
Fondly,

Andrea Boerger September Sucher
