🌱 Spring 2026 in San Miguel! 🌱

What a busy few months! We’re proud of what our community accomplished together. ❤️

🚲 A Safer L St. — 143 students participated in our Bike & Ride to School demonstration. 93% felt safer with the protected pathway, and 90% would let their child walk to school on L St. if it were permanent!

🎉 Día del Niño — Nearly 800 people came out for our 3rd annual Children’s Day Festival, with music, animals, first responders, giant slides, and plenty of fun!

🍽️ We also supported Lillian Larsen’s Community Meal Night with games and the Jungle Jumparoo.

🎨 And we’re just getting started! Coming up: a community mural, youth soccer support, and new youth activities like art, karate, boxing & more!

The Pop up Bike and Walk to School event went off amazingly! We had such a great turn out!

We want to give a great big thank you to FDAV Church - Iglesia for hosting our starting position, Avila Traffic Safetyfor making our amazing traffic signs, Office David Morey from California Highway Patrol for helping our students stay safe and San Luis Obispo Council of Governments - slocog.org for assisting us in this event!

Of course a huge shout out to all the families that walked/biked/scootered with us to Lillian Larsen Elementary School!
