The PRIDE Initiative under 'BHRS' Office of Diversity and Equity is committed to fostering a welcoming environment for the LGBTQ+ communities living and working in San Mateo County through an interdisciplinary and inclusive approach. We are made up of individuals who are concerned about the well-being

of the LGBTQ+ communities in San Mateo County. The PRIDE Initiative collaborates with the newly formed San Mateo County LGBTQ Commission, and San Mateo County Pride Center. Our Vision:
An inclusive environment based in equality and parity for le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender, q***r, questioning, and intersex (LGBTQQI) communities of San Mateo County. The event is not sponsored or endorsed by the City of San Mateo
