Here are the simple rules for participation on IBEW Local Union 617 page. In order to protect both free speech and the best interests of the IBEW, all activity on this page by admins, officers, staff, members and friends of the IBEW should "conform to and abide by the Constitution and laws of the IBEW and its local unions". If the "banned" person wants to regain the ability to comment on posts they will need to schedule a visit to the Executive Board of the Local. The Executive Board will hear appeals using the "IBEW Rules for Hearings", the results of the hearing will determine if the "banned" status will be lifted. All comments and postings should help achieve the "Objects" of the IBEW (found on the inside cover of the IBEW Constitution and listed under "Mission" on this page), and shouldn't violate our oath or laws, in particular, IBEW Constitution Article 25 should be used for guidance. If at anytime a comment, posting, error or other issue needs to be brought to the attention of the page admins please do not hesitate to contact us by FB message, or by telephoning the hall.
