MEETING: At Neal's Cafe Restaurant in Crystal Springs Shopping Center in San Mateo, on 2nd Thursday monthly from 6:00 PM. B’s&G’s Club was the beneficiary this year. A meaningful occasion during holiday seasons & provides fun to the supporting bowlers, Lions & children. COMMUNITY PROJECTS:
“Bingo & Pasta Feed” - SMLC’s annual event to raise fu
nds to support the Club’s services projects. This is a night of good food, Bingo, and fun with prize galore.
“Second Harvest Bank Support” – SM Lions & friends at the Bank to sort and pack food stuffs for the low income and needy families around the Bay Area. Projects: “Plant-A-Tree” – SMLC funded 1000 seedlings on 3 acres plus a signature tree, Kases For Kids – East Palo Alto Human Services, Senior Health Fair, San Mateo Expo, White Cane Days, Hearing Days, Flag Days, Adopt-A-Family, X’mas Cards For Vets, Movie/Meal Event with Bs&Gs Club & Maple Street Shelter, Eye Glasses Collections, Little League Pancake Breakfast, Joint Holiday Gala For Food & Toys.
