It’s almost 3pm, and Monday is starting off full and EMPOWERED! 💜✨

Here’s a little play-by-play of what we’ve been up to today! Moving, creating, learning + sharing some joy with our youth. 💃🏽🎶

So much love for our teaching artists and the energy they bring into our programs. And our youth? Bringing their own grooves, ideas + personalities right along with them! 🥰👏🏽

This is how we’re getting our week going, fam! How’s your Monday so far? 💜

Sending a little Saturday love, peace + gratitude your way from our Get Empowered! little ones! 💛✨

There’s so much joy in watching our young people connect, show each other kindness + find their own ways to shine. These are the moments that fill us up and keep us going. 💜🙌🏽

As you move through your weekend, we hope you find a little time to rest, laugh + be with the people who fill your cup, too. Sending love from our community to yours! 🌎✨

Taking it back to Culture Day with our youth for ! 🌍💜🙌🏽

Flamenco footwork , capoeira, Latin dance 🎶 + the sounds of drums carrying rhythms from Brazil, West Africa & the Caribbean 🥁🪘… there was so much to explore, and our young people were here for ALL of it!

Our incredible teaching artists shared their artistry, culture + stories, inviting our youth to move, listen, ask questions, and jump into something new. And of course, have a little fun along the way! 🥰✨

This is what we love about learning through the arts. A rhythm gets you moving. A story sparks a question. And before you know it, you’re learning about the world + the people you share it with. 🌎❤️

A huge thank you to our teaching artists for the love, care + creativity you bring into these spaces. These moments stay with our young people, and they stay with us, too! 💜✨

When your kind of fun is their kind of fun, too. 😂✨

The ones who hear the beat and jump right in with you. Who turn a quick dance break into a whole party. Who say “one more song” 🎧 when the program is coming to a close. 🎶

There’s something special about finding your people and getting to share that kind of JOY. At Get Empowered! , we love creating space for those connections through movement, music + a little fun! 💜

This Wellness Wednesday, make time for the friends who get you moving and keep you laughing. 🥰

Fully in the moment, feeling the rhythm + giving us EVERYTHING! 🥁✨

This Teaching Artists Tuesday, we’re sharing some highlights from our celebration of 10 years of Get Empowered + 20 years of Global Arts to Go! 🎉💜

Featuring our incredible teaching artists who get young people moving, creating + connecting around the world. They brought that same heart, artistry + JOY to our anniversary celebration, and we’re still feeling it! 💃🏽🌍🎶

From the stage to the classroom, our artists share their cultures, encourage our youth to try something new + help them discover their own magic. Watching that confidence grow is something we’ll always celebrate. 🥰

To our teaching artists: thank you for every new step, word of encouragement + moment you help a young person feel seen.

We’re clapping for YOU! 👏🏽💜✨

Starting off Movement Monday with one of our favorite programs featuring Indigenous Enterprise, LLC! ❤️✨

Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we celebrate Indigenous cultures, creativity + communities, and the artists keeping traditions alive while creating something all their own.

We’re grateful to Indigenous Enterprise for sharing their artistry and culture with our youth. These moments give our young people space to move, ask questions, learn + connect. 🌍

Dance carries stories. It connects generations. And we love seeing our youth experience that together. ❤️

Let’s bring that curiosity, connection + JOY into the week. Happy Movement Monday, fam! ✨

Happy International Day of the Girl! Today, we’re celebrating our girls + the joy they bring as they create, learn + grow together. 🌍🎨

We give young women and girls space to share their ideas, try something new + discover what brings them joy. Along the way, they build confidence, make friends + get to show up as themselves.

That’s what we love about moments like this. Creativity + connection, with room for every girl to feel seen, supported + proud of what she has to share. 💫

To our girls: your voices matter, your ideas matter + we’re here cheering you on. Keep creating, keep dreaming + Don’t Hide Your Magic!🪄

We’re clapping for YOU, today + every day! 👏🏽💜
