Beyond Type 1 Beyond Type 1 is a nonprofit organization changing what it means to live with diabetes.

In addition to online community building, awareness and resources, Beyond Type 1 offers programs for people with diabetes. Programs are primarily focused on addressing problems faced by the diabetes community and providing peer support. These include: GetInsulin.org (for insulin access support), the Warning Signs Campaign, Snail Mail Club (a pen pal program), Diabetes Scholars (a scholarship program for students with T1D), and more. 100% of donations made by the community directly fund Beyond Type 1’s portfolio of platforms, programs, and grants, making a direct and immediate impact in the lives of people living with diabetes. Beyond Type 1 is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, under charitable ID #47-3336640.
