In our 1926–2026 Centennial year, we honor the past presidents of the San Marino City Club whose leadership, service, and dedication built a century of community, tradition, and civic pride.

What a remarkable way to begin our Centennial year at the San Marino City Club.

We were honored to welcome Kevin Beggs, producer at Lionsgate, who shared his journey with sincerity and grace. His story of perseverance and success resonated deeply and reminded us that leadership and humility can go hand in hand.

We were also grateful for the presence of Senator Perez, who spoke about his admiration for our club and the importance of celebrating one hundred years of service, connection, and community.

Adding to the evening was special guest Taylor John Smith, known for his work in Warfare and Where the Crawdads Sing, whose attendance made the night even more memorable.

We were also pleased to welcome Charles Plowman, Publisher of The Tribune, whose presence added to the significance of the evening.

This successful first meeting of our Centennial year was made possible through the leadership of our President Ed Tom, who created an evening that will be remembered by our members for years to come.
