It’s considered one of the oldest continuously inhabited sites in North America, with human history going back over 11,500 years. The 63rd Texas Water Safari kicked off from Spring Lake this morning, sending racers on a 260-mile adventure from San Marcos to the Texas coast. Good luck to all the racers. We’ll be cheering from the headwaters! 💙🌿
