Welcome From the IFC President
On behalf of the Interfraternity Council, I would like to congratulate you on your decision to attend Texas State University and welcome you to the Bobcat family. You could not have chosen a more beautiful campus on which to spend your next four years than right in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The next four years will be instrumental in shaping and molding y
our interests, principles and personal skills for your adult life. A person can learn how to manage a budget, run effective meetings, speak in public or even motivate others. There is no better place to build and strengthen those characteristics than going Greek. When choosing to join a fraternity you’re choosing to join a group that spans the nation and unites men in a common bond. It’s bond that doesn’t just last for your college career, but for life. Networking is becoming highly important in today’s business world; by using the resources of the Greek system you can create relationships with alums, family members, university faculty and staff as well as friends of your “brothers” who can potentially lead you to a successful career. We are going to make it our priority to do everything possible to find the fraternity that fits you.
