💗💜 OCTOBER — A MONTH OF AWARENESS 💜💗
As we welcome October, the South Central Region Heroines of Jericho proudly stands in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Two causes. One mission. Healthy women. Safe women. Stronger communities.
💗 This month, we encourage our Sisters to be proactive about their health. Know your risk, stay informed, keep up with recommended screenings, and encourage the women you love to do the same. We honor the survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand beside every woman currently fighting.
💜 We also stand with survivors of domestic violence and those who may still be searching for the courage, resources, and safe opportunity to leave. We must continue to educate ourselves, recognize the signs, support survivors without judgment, and help create spaces where women feel safe enough to speak and be heard.
As Heroines, our commitment to charity and benevolence calls us to do more than wear pink and purple. It calls us to be aware, educated, compassionate, and willing to serve.
Throughout October, let us use our voices and our platforms to spread awareness, encourage prevention, share resources, and remind our communities that no woman should have to fight either battle alone.
