On Saturday, August 15th, Head to Toe held their huge annual back-to-school event at The Connection Church, providing school supplies, backpacks, shoes, clothing, hygiene essentials, vision tests and haircuts at no charge - along with lots of food and fun! - to 511 SMCISD students representing 201 families.

Bluebonnet Lions were proud to support this marvelous effort by handing out cookies during the morning.

At our lunch meeting on Tuesday, 8/4, the Bluebonnet Lions presented the remainder of our 2026 grant distributions to more San Marcos community service organizations. The money distributed was raised this year through our Nut Sales, the Thankful Turkey 5K and our First Fish Fry.
