What a great feeling to be a part of an international movement! We cleaned up a little corner of our region, with Scouts Trash the Trash Day. Most of what we gathered were tiny bits of plastic, harmful to the birds, snakes and other critters with whom we share our park. And look at this haul from two motivated Scouts!

Although service is needed for older Scouts' rank advancements, Eagle projects, high school...it goes way beyond that. Most who "work" in Scouting are volunteers, serving the Scouting community and the greater good of our society. Including all of the adults in Pack 650. Volunteering feels good, and we're never too young to start or too old to continue! 😊
