One can train capoeira alone, but one must have a community to play capoeira. Hillside Capoeira Angola is a community based capoeira Angola study group in San Marcos, Texas. The mission of Hillside is the study, preservation and dissemination of the Afro-Brazilian art-form of capoeira Angola. Hillside meets to trains @ Sewell Park Mondays and Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm, and Saturdays at 11 am. Newcomers, please wear, shoes, pants you can move around in and a t-shirt, and do not not wear all black.
