San Marcos Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association Graduates of the SM Police Citizen Police Academy, & officers who have been w/the SMPD for 5yrs are

Membership in the Association shall be available to any person who is a graduate of the San Marcos Police Department’s Citizen Police Academy, or former officers with five or more years with the department, and whose dues are paid in full, and meet and maintain the qualifications of the San Marcos Police Department policy manual.

The San Marcos Police Department will host a public memorial honoring Officer Justin Putnam on the first anniversary of his death, Sunday, Apr. 18, 2021, at Five Mile Dam Park’s soccer complex, 4440 South Old Stagecoach Road. The event will begin at 5:45 p.m. . Attendees are encouraged to carpool if possible as parking space is limited.

This afternoon some San Marcos Police officers are volunteering their time to assist with an es**rt and memorial service for a Hays County Pct. 2 Deputy Constable who died of COVID-19 complications. Please be patient and drive safely!
