The Student Parent Network

The Student Parent Network We are a student organization on campus that helps support parents while they are building futures f As a single parent we want to be supported.

We want to ensure that the decisions we are forced to make are beneficial. We want to be reminded that not only do we work hard for everything, but that we are doing the right thing. With creating this campus organization I hope for so many wonderful outcomes. First, to create a safe and comfortable environment for those who are single while being students, main providers, and parents. I want to h

ave meetings on campus where we can support each other, learn from each other and establish supportive and lasting friendships. I want to encourage people to practice public speaking and sharing their stories. I want to have interactive engagement nights where you can bring your kiddos, socialize, eat dinner and reflect on how hard you work in your day-to-day life. I want to have fundraisers where the kids are involved, and quarterly give-a-ways of financial donations to parent sin the program. Please consider being a part of this organization if you are ready to experience life with others just like you who are striving for success, and need surrounding support, and a positive environment.

Here is the information about the Halloween event. The GEC has set it up to be so amazing!

Bring your cubs for a fun evening! All stops will have treats and we are especially excited to have some great friendly stops!

If you're not sure what that means, there will be certain stops that have non-food treats for children with food allergies or restrictions! It gives them the opportunity to have an enjoyable trick-or-treat experience without being left out!

If you are a student, faculty member, or community member and wish to be updated on our organization, I ask that you please take a few minutes to fill out the google form so we can update our contact list. We will have a table set up for the student organization with a fun kids activity from 3-6:30 pm. The event does run until 9 pm so feel free to stay longer!
