Greater Austin-San Antonio Corridor Council Its purpose is to foster prosperity through sound infrastructure and economic development.

The Greater Austin-San Antonio Corridor Council is a thirty year old, eight-county, 126-mile long, 6,731 square mile, 83-community, 3.9 million resident region. Through the years, The Corridor Council has initiated transportation, logistics, infrastructure and other economic & community development discussions.

The Texas Tribune is pleased to present a day-long symposium on rebuilding the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Harvey.

Join us as we explore the storm's impacts on the state budget and 86th legislative session; the impact on public education in the region; the business climate and economic development along the coast; whether the population in the affected areas will return and what will be different; and the environmental impact of the devastating storm.

Also on the agenda: a one-on-one conversation with John Sharp, the Texas A&M University System chancellor appointed by Gov. Abbott to lead the effort to rebuild Texas. The full day's schedule and list of panelists will be announced shortly.

This new list provides a variety of congestion measures for the top 100 road segments in the state and a more comprehensive examination of nearly 1,800 roadways across Texas.
