Pack 18 Cub Scouts Cub Scout Pack 18, sponsored by Noon Day Lions in San Marcos offers fun, adventure, learning, and fellowship for boys in first through fifth grades.

Join us at the church each Monday night at 6:30 as we explore the world of scouting. Pack 18 is chartered by First United Methodist Church. We offer fun, adventure, learning, and fellowship for boys in 1st through 5th grades. Pack 18 welcomes families of all faiths and backgrounds & encourages families of our Cubs and their siblings, boys & girls, to participate in many of our events.

Scout Sunday honors the contributions of Scouts and leaders in their faith communities. Scouts will serve as greeters, ushers, and assist during services.

What to Wear: Full Class A uniform for all Scouts and leaders.

New to Scouting? Come see the Scouts in action. If you don’t have a regular place of worship, join us at FUMC!

📍 Scouts should arrive early to help with preparations. Families are encouraged to attend.

🏁 Get Ready to Race! 🏁

Join us this Saturday for the annual Pinewood Derby Race! 🚗💨

What We Do: Scouts race their hand-built Pinewood Derby cars in a fun-filled day of competition, creativity, and camaraderie.

What to Wear: Scouts should wear their Class A uniforms for the event.

New to Scouting? Come cheer on our Scouts and see what all the excitement is about!

📍 Details:

Race starts at 9:00 AM.
Car check-in and impound: Friday, January 31, from 5:00-7:00 PM at FUMC Parish Hall.
We’ll see you at the starting line! 🏎️

Our family has enjoyed Scouting because we get to do things as a family that we just wouldn't have time to plan on our own- like Fall weather camping in Central Texas. During the pre-trip meeting, we'll discuss the campout itinerary, meal planning, packing essentials, and other important details. Even if you're not planning to attend this year, you're welcome to join and stay informed for future events.

As we tally the race times, anticipation is building for the upcoming Blue and Gold Banquet, where we'll crown our champions and celebrate with Cub Scout Spirit. Thank you for bringing your enthusiasm and making the Pinewood Derby such a fantastic success!
