This week’s “Into the Gray” has rock musician Mondaybluezz coming into the station to hang out and talk music. He’s new to the Central Texas scene, so it will be interesting hear what he has to say. The show runs from 10-noon CST on 104.1 FM and at KZSM.org.

Wanted: KZSM Production Coordinator

Salary: $17 per hour; 20 hours per week
Duration: This will be a one-year position with an option to renew for an additional year.

Oversee a one-hour weekly broadcast focused on adult public health and a 30 minute bi-weekly show directed to area youth.

Schedule guests, plan broadcasts, ensure the production and hosting of both broadcasts. Manage college interns and youth hosts. Submit monthly reports to the Board.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Bilingual (Spanish/English), medical knowledge or expertise, experience working with youth. Familiarity with radio production or willingness to learn.

Digital fluency and the ability to quickly master a variety of software programs necessary for the production of the shows, including Audacity. Proficiency in off-site audio recording.
