We have exciting news to share…

🚨 A candidate has officially stepped up to take on the role of PTO President!
That means the PTO is NOT dissolving — and the meeting scheduled 04/07/2025 to vote on dissolution is CANCELLED! 🙌🏼

💥 This is a HUGE WIN for our students, staff, and school community!
We’re so grateful for every voice, every volunteer, and every bit of hope you’ve poured into keeping our PTO alive and thriving. 💙

Dear Centennial Families and Community,

In accordance with Article XIII of our bylaws, this post serves as official notice that the Centennial R-1 PTO will be holding a vote on the proposed dissolution of the organization.

This has not been an easy decision, but with leadership transitions and limited volunteers, we are at a crossroads. If no new officers step forward, especially for the roles of President and Treasurer, the organization will be unable to continue its operations.

Should the PTO dissolve, all remaining funds will be used to pay any outstanding obligations and, with membership approval, be used for the benefit of the school and students per our bylaws.

We welcome all voices at this important meeting. If you believe in the mission of supporting our students, staff, and school community—and would like to see PTO continue—we’d love to hear from you.

This is not goodbye just yet—this is your chance to step in and help shape what comes next.

The Eligibility Committee will be meeting on Thursday 3/13/25 at 5pm in the library to discuss the following:
Eligibility requirements for our students' athletes.
Proposed changes to When the eligibility report is created.
Making sure that the student and athletic handbooks correspond to one another with no confusion or misunderstandings.

We will have an open gym, family yoga, and a space to discuss and ask questions about the "Catch My Breath" anti-vaping curriculum and our anti-bullying day coming up!
