🎓✨ Success stories like this remind us why we do what we do.

We had the pleasure of welcoming past scholarship recipient **Leonardo Rojas** to our Rotary meeting, where he shared his educational journey and accomplishments with our members.

Leonardo recently graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and will begin a master's degree program this fall. He also shared a long list of accolades and awards he has received, along with the research he's conducted. We could not be more proud of all that he has achieved and the bright future ahead of him.

One of the most meaningful moments of his presentation was hearing Leonardo share that our Rotary scholarship was one of the first signs that someone believed in him and his potential. Knowing that our fundraising efforts and community support helped encourage him to pursue his dreams is incredibly rewarding.

At the San Luis Frontera Rotary Club, we believe in investing in our future leaders. Leonardo's story is a powerful reminder that when a community comes together to support students, the impact extends far beyond a scholarship—it helps ignite confidence, opportunity, and success.

What a beautiful and meaningful evening at our Scholarship Award Night! 🎓✨

The San Luis Frontera Rotary Club was honored to award $17,000 in scholarships to 17 outstanding local students as they pursue their educational dreams and prepare to become the future leaders of our community.

Moments like these remind us why we dedicate so much time throughout the year to fundraising, volunteering, and serving our community. Every fundraiser, sponsorship, donation, and act of support came full circle through these scholarships — directly investing back into the future of our young adults and helping create opportunities for the next generation.

Seeing the smiles from students, proud parents, sponsors, community partners, and fellow Rotarians made the evening incredibly special. These scholarships represent more than financial support — they represent hope, encouragement, opportunity, and a community that believes deeply in its youth.

Three weeks later and people are STILL talking about our Wild West Casino Night- Rotary Annual Fundraiser 🤠🎲✨

What an amazing night of fun, community, and giving back. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and guests, the San Luis Frontera Rotary Club raised important funds to support scholarships, youth programs, and community service projects.

Saul joins our club with great enthusiasm and a strong desire to serve our community. He works with Onvida Health on the compliance side of the organization and brings valuable professional experience and passion for service.

Members of the 2026–2027 Board from the San Luis Frontera Rotary Club recently joined fellow Rotarians from across Yuma County for an inspiring Rotary District training in Yuma.

Representatives from all local Rotary clubs came together to learn more about Rotary’s mission, strengthen leadership skills, and participate in position-specific trainings designed to help us better serve our communities.

The day also included important trainings on youth protection, governance, club operations, and best practices that help ensure Rotary continues making a meaningful and lasting impact. Beyond the learning, it was a wonderful opportunity to network, collaborate, and build friendships with fellow Rotarians who share a passion for Service Above Self.

We are excited for the year ahead and grateful for the opportunity to continue learning, growing, and serving together. 💙💛
