As we enter into 2026, we wanted to share our gratitude to all the people and partners that supported this year's SLO Grassroots Thanksgiving Community Meal! We served more in-house guests than ever before and also reached our isolated neighbors at home. It was a day of celebration and awe as we witnessed our community come together to create something vital: a time of full bellies and full hearts. We look forward to meeting more of our community's needs in 2026❤️

We are so appreciative of their contribution to our mission and want to extend a big thank you from Brenda Mack and the rest of the board for everything Corazon Cafe is doing to support our community.

Please go support us and Corazón Cafe each Tuesday this month. Trust me, the food and drinks they have are out of this world amazing. You have to try! Our board members Brenda and Angie love the chilaquiles if you're looking for a great breakfast!

Join us at SLO Elks Lodge (222 Elks Lane, San Luis Obispo, CA) any time 7am-7pm next Monday-Wednesday (11/24-11/26) to help prep our annual community meal! We do food prep and light cooking on Monday-Tuesday & Wednesday is cooking and serving. Come for 5 minutes or stay all day! We cannot do this free & delicious community meal without you ❤️

Thank you, Susan Rodriguez - State Farm Agent for your very generous donation. People like you are helping to ensure our neighbors feel nourished and connected during this holiday, and is the very spirit that makes SLO such a wonderful place to live.

We are still scrambling to have enough food to feed ~2000 people a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday November 26th.
